Rural Health Network

Strengthening access to care and coordination of services across rural Herkimer County.

As the New York State Department of Health-designated Rural Health Network for Herkimer County, HealthNet works to improve access to health care, strengthen community partnerships, and address health challenges facing rural residents. Through collaboration, education, and community-based programming, we connect people and organizations to resources that support healthier lives. This work includes providing support for rural providers to improve access to care, enhance coordination of services, increase efficiency of service delivery, and introduce needed community services through the formation and operation of rural health networks.
