Families came together for a day of fun, learning and community connection at the annual Learn & Play Community Wellness Event, held Friday, August 7, at Arc Park in Herkimer.
Herkimer County HealthNet was proud to partner with Arc Herkimer for the sixth year to offer this free event for local children and families.
Throughout the day, families enjoyed activities, free food, giveaways and opportunities to connect with valuable community resources. The event also featured special attractions for children, including the Utica ZooMobile and a mobile museum, giving kids the chance to learn and explore while having fun.
The Wiener Wagon was also on site providing free hot dogs to families throughout the event.
Learn & Play is designed to bring families together in a welcoming environment while connecting them with organizations, programs and resources that support health and well-being in our community.
Thank you to Arc Herkimer, our participating community organizations and everyone who helped make this year’s event possible. Most of all, thank you to the families who joined us for another great day at Arc Park. We loved seeing our community come together to learn, play and connect!
